Dunthorpe Remodel

 

This is an extensive remodel and addition to a 1904 home on the Willamette River. The finished product is a synthesis of client/builder/architect collaboration. 7,800 square feet, sided in Canadian Skurl, and accented with handmade clear fir window trim. The interior is clear fir woodwork and Siberian Larch flooring. The curved cantilevered granite counters, fir cabinets, and bamboo ceilings all reflect the clients' love of natural materials and warm surroundings. The original stone fireplace was dismantled and rebuilt.  This project was completed in 10 months.
